What does the dermatology and aesthetics department at Sira Clinics offer?
The dermatology and non-surgical aesthetics department at Sira Clinics in Madinaty provides: dermal filler to restore lost volume and define facial contours, Botox for dynamic wrinkles and excessive sweating, skin boosters and mesotherapy for deep hydration and glow, HydraFacial for deep pore cleansing, plus acne and acne-scar treatment, pigmentation and melasma care, hair loss management, general dermatology, and medical peels. Every procedure is preceded by a medical assessment and a written plan with its cost.
The 3 Topics Our Visitors Search Most
1. Filler vs. Botox — what’s the difference, and which do you actually need?
This is the first question asked in every aesthetic clinic, and confusing the two is behind most disappointing results.
Botox stops movement. Filler restores volume.
- Botox relaxes the muscle creating the crease, so the lines that appear when you move disappear: forehead lines, frown lines between the brows, and crow’s feet. It takes effect in 3 to 7 days and typically lasts 4 to 6 months. It’s also used for excessive underarm and palm sweating, and for a subtle brow or nasal tip lift.
- Filler is a gel — usually hyaluronic acid — placed where volume has been lost with age: hollow cheeks, under-eye shadows, nasolabial folds, lips, and chin and jawline definition. Results appear almost immediately and usually last 9 to 18 months depending on the product and area.
The practical rule: if lines appear when you express and vanish when you relax → usually Botox. If they’re there when your face is still, or the face simply looks tired and deflated → usually filler. Many cases need both, in small doses.
How we work at Sira Clinics: we assess facial balance both in movement and at rest, and identify the area actually causing the problem — which is often not the area the patient points to. Then we start with the lowest effective dose and review at two weeks. Overdoing is always easier than undoing, so we move gradually.
An honest caution: filler and Botox are medical procedures with contraindications. Neither is performed during pregnancy or breastfeeding, or alongside certain medications and immune conditions. The initial assessment is not a formality.
2. HydraFacial — is it actually worth it, and how many sessions?
HydraFacial performs four jobs in a single 30 to 45-minute session: gentle surface exfoliation, vortex extraction of blackheads and sebum from the pores, hydration and nourishment with a serum chosen for your skin type, and finally a soothing step to calm redness.
Who it suits: oily and combination skin, blackheads and enlarged pores, dull skin before an event, and early fine lines. It’s among the least irritating skin procedures available and works well for most sensitive skin types.
Results and frequency: the glow shows from the first session and lasts 5 to 7 days as a standalone treatment. For a stable cumulative result we typically recommend 4 to 6 sessions two to three weeks apart, followed by monthly maintenance.
The part nobody tells you: HydraFacial is not a treatment for active inflammatory acne, and it does not remove deep acne scarring or ice-pick scars. Those need a different protocol — fractional laser, medical peels, or pharmacological treatment. Anyone selling HydraFacial as the answer to everything is selling you a session, not a result.
Our commitment: we won’t recommend a HydraFacial if your condition needs something else — even if you’re the one asking for it.
3. Acne and acne scarring — why does treatment fail for most people?
Acne treatment fails for three recurring reasons: treating the scars before controlling the active breakout, following protocols copied from social media without a diagnosis, and stopping after two weeks because “it’s working too slowly.”
We handle the case in two phases:
Phase one — stop the activity. We identify the lesion type (closed comedones, inflammatory papules, or deep cystic acne) and look for the cause: hormonal, dietary, medication-related, or unsuitable products. Then we set a topical or systemic protocol with a simple daily routine you can realistically follow. This phase needs 6 to 12 weeks before it can be judged.
Phase two — treat what’s left behind. Once the skin is fully calm:
- Red or brown pigmentation: medical peels, topical brightening agents, and strict sun protection.
- Atrophic scars and ice-pick scarring: fractional laser, microneedling, or subcision — chosen by scar depth and skin type.
- Enlarged pores: a combined fractional and skin-booster protocol.
A realistic expectation: acne scarring improves markedly, but it rarely disappears entirely. The professional target is 60% to 85% improvement over 4 to 6 sessions. Anyone promising complete erasure in one session isn’t telling you the truth.
Why Choose Sira Clinics for Your Skin
- Diagnosis before sales. No procedure is offered until a dermatologist has examined your skin and identified the cause. Many skin problems are driven internally and no device will fix them.
- Genuine products with codes you can see. We use approved filler, Botox, and cosmeceutical products, and we show you the packaging and batch code before injecting. That’s your right.
- The “lowest effective dose” principle. Our aesthetic philosophy is that people should say “you look well-rested,” not “what did you do to your face?”
- One doctor follows your journey. You won’t re-explain your case at every visit. Your record is kept, photos are documented, and comparisons are objective.
- Strict photo privacy. Your case photos belong to you. They are never published or used in any marketing without separate written consent that you can withdraw at any time.
- A documented sterilization protocol. Sterilized instruments, single-use needles, and a written procedural standard — not improvisation.
FAQs
Q: Are filler and Botox injections painful? A: It feels like a light pinprick. We apply a topical anaesthetic cream about 20 minutes beforehand, and most fillers contain anaesthetic within the product. Most patients describe it as easier than they expected.
Q: When can I return to normal activity? A: Immediately, in most cases. Mild redness or swelling may last one to three days, and we ask you to avoid intense exercise, saunas, and sleeping face-down for 24 to 48 hours.
Q: Can filler be dissolved if I don’t like the result? A: Yes — hyaluronic acid filler can be dissolved with hyaluronidase. That’s one reason we choose this type specifically: it gives you the right to change your mind.
Q: How long does Botox last? A: 4 to 6 months on average, and often longer with regular repeat treatment as the muscle adapts to being relaxed.
